Travellers from Patna have National Highway 27, and the temple can be reached after a comfortable six-hour journey of 225 km. For those coming from Kolkata, there is National Highway 19, and the temple can be reached after 12 hours of travel by covering a distance of 570 km. Similarly, National Highway (1080 km) 19 is for those from Delhi, and the temple can be reached after 24 hours of travel.

Janakpur Railway Station is the nearest to Janakpur and is well-connected to major cities like Patna, Kolkata and Delhi. After reaching the railway station, one can take a taxi or bus to the temple.

3. By Air

The nearest airport is Biratnagar Airport (170km)) in Nepal. There are ample travel options available to get you there. One can easily take taxis or buses from the airport, which take travellers directly to the temple.
